The Esperanto Museum of Subirats, previously known as the Hispana Esperanto-muzeo (Spanish Esperanto Museum), is a unique private collection of objects related to the international language of Esperanto. It is located in the Catalan town of San Pablo de Ordal, in the municipality of Subirats, Alto Panadés, province of Barcelona. This museum offers a unique insight into the history and culture of the Esperanto language and its community.
The Esperanto Museum of Subirats closed its doors in 2021, and its collections were transferred to the Municipal Archive. Currently, work is underway to create an Esperanto Interpretation Center. The museum's collection is vast, with an estimated 15,000 bulletins and Esperanto magazines, about 8,000 books, and around 1,500 posters and brochures, mainly related to congresses. The museum also boasts a collection of 150,000 postcards, collected from both Esperantists and non-Esperantists.
