The musée Fesch, officially known as Palais Fesch-musée des beaux-arts, is the primary museum of fine arts in Ajaccio, Corsica. It is situated within the gated Palais Fesch in the Borgu d'Ajaccio quarter of the town. The museum was established by Cardinal Joseph Fesch, an uncle of Napoleon I and a Prince of France from 1807. The museum is housed in the 19th-century Palais Fesch on Rue Cardinal Fesch.
The musée Fesch is home to one of France's finest collections of Italian old masters. This includes works by renowned artists such as Botticelli, Giovanni Bellini, and Cosmè Tura. The museum also houses one of the most significant collections of Napoleonic paintings and memorabilia, as well as a Corsican Collection of paintings. The four-storey building displays more than 400 works from the collection in 27 rooms.

Fesch Museum has 1 rating.
The Fesch Museum in Ajaccio, France, houses an impressive collection of Italian Renaissance and Baroque art. Visitors appreciate the extensive array of paintings, including works by notable artists such as Botticelli and Titian. The museum's setting in a grand Napoleonic-era palace adds to its appeal, with many praising the building's architecture and atmosphere.
While the collection is generally well-regarded, some visitors note that the museum could benefit from better lighting in certain areas and more comprehensive information in English. The audio guide, when available, is recommended for a fuller understanding of the artworks.
The museum's connection to Napoleon Bonaparte's family, particularly Cardinal Fesch, adds historical context that many find interesting. However, some visitors mention that the museum can feel a bit dated in its presentation style.
Despite these minor drawbacks, the Fesch Museum is generally considered a worthwhile cultural experience in Ajaccio, offering a surprisingly rich collection of Italian art outside of Italy. It's particularly appreciated by art enthusiasts and those interested in Corsican history.
