Since 1992, the Furthmühle Pram has been managed by the Furthmühle Cultural Association and serves as an open-air museum. The building itself is under monument protection, further emphasizing its historical significance. Visitors can explore the mill and learn about its history and the role it played in the community.
Visitors to the Furthmühle Pram can explore the mill and the sawmill with the help of audio guides and smartphone stations provided by the association. There is also an opportunity to participate in the "From Grain to Bread" workshop, which provides insight into the processing of grain and flour. The mill also serves as a venue for seminars and weddings. Regular events, including a farmers' market on Saturdays and a craft fair in November, add to the vibrant atmosphere of the place.
