The German Oceanographic Museum, also referred to as the Museum for Oceanography and Fisheries, Aquarium, is situated in the Hanseatic town of Stralsund. It is recognized as the most visited museum in North Germany, attracting a large number of tourists each year. Apart from the main museum building, the German Oceanographic Museum also encompasses three other sites: the Ozeaneum, the Nautineum, and the Natureum.
