Les Terres de Nataé, previously known as Zoo de Pont-Scorff, is a zoo situated in the French municipality of Pont-Scorff, in the Morbihan department of the Brittany region. The zoo is approximately 150 kilometers southeast of the city of Nantes. It is accredited by the European Association of Zoos and Aquaria (EAZA) and was visited by around 100,000 people in 2022.
Les Terres de Nataé houses around 450 animals on a site of approximately 14 hectares. The species are essentially divided according to geographical aspects. Accordingly, there are large areas dedicated to Europe, Africa, Asia with a jungle landscape for the Western Small Panda, and South America. Other areas include a reptile house, a mini farm, and a children's playground.
Les Terres de Nataé is dedicated to preserving biological diversity at a time when many species are threatened with extinction. The zoo is particularly involved in protection programs that concern the following species: Binturong, Western Red Panda, Sri Lanka Leopard, all lemur species, Rotohrara, and African big cats. The long-term goal of the zoo is to gradually only house species on the site that are classified as 'endangered' or higher according to the International Union for Conservation of Nature and Natural Resources (IUCN).
