Lincoln Train Museum Reviews

Lincoln Train Museum has 4 ratings.

  • Apollo's Insights AI-Generated

The Lincoln Train Museum in Gettysburg offers a niche experience focused on President Lincoln's journey to and from Gettysburg, as well as railroad history. Visitors often appreciate the historical context and the replica of Lincoln's funeral train car. However, some find the museum small and dated, with a limited scope that may not justify the admission price for all visitors. The exhibits, while informative, could benefit from modernization. The museum's location in downtown Gettysburg is convenient, but parking can be challenging. Overall, it's a quick visit that may appeal more to train enthusiasts and those with a specific interest in this aspect of Lincoln's history, rather than general tourists or history buffs looking for a comprehensive Civil War experience.

Mentally Imbalanced Owner John Christopher Fine.

Our research has provided since the acquisition from the prior owner of the Lincoln Train Museum, there have been absolutely no maintenance to maintain the Trains or other equipment in the Museum.

The new owner who resides primarily in Florida, 10 months out of the year is defiant in collective recommendations to improve or maintain. Instead he threatens baseless legal rhetoric at anyone who provides a realistic review. He may have obtained the business using a deceased individuals funds. Pending investigation on going.

This same owner Dumpster Dives not only in the Boynton Beach area, but also in Gettysburg and beyond, for groceries as he knows exactly when the stores disposed of their expired items. He showers at local establishments such as the YWCA and adjacent camp ground without authorization. He simply wants someone else to cover his daily living expenses.

What ia even more deplorable is his unacceptable behavior towards women. Making multiple false statements against a former employee to local town police and eventually case was disposed, Mr. Fine should have been charged with making false statements. Falsely Claiming the employee stole 8k, when he is lucky to have $8 dollars in the cash box.

Majority of positive reviews are orchestrated by him and don't come close to providing a true experience when open. Barefoot owner continues daily violations driving with no shoes, entering businesses with no shoes. Defiant of every local ordinances including paying taxes.

    No shoes no service.

Never open on the hours posted. Once a beautiful place, now just forgotten and horrid. Owner very Bizarre individual, he disputes every constructive review and doesn't do anything to maintain the establishment.
