Memorial Museum Passchendaele 1917 is housed in a castle that was devastated during World War. In 1925 it was rebuilt in Norman style. The museum illustrates the five battles at Ypres. Visitors walk into a German trench, descend into a British six meter deep dugout with headquarters, a communication post, and sleeping accommodation. There is also a large collection of photographs and the museum also displays several dioramas.
