Origins of the Museum
The origins of the museum date back to the late 19th century when Manuel López-Cancelos, a mill expert, returned to Spain from Argentina. With the money he had saved during his stay abroad, he decided to build a mill, marking the beginning of what would later become the Mills Museum.
