The Museum of the Theater of Cesaraugusta (Museo del Teatro de Caesaraugusta) is a space in which the ruins of the old Roman theater of Zaragoza as well as diverse archaeological finds and models of that time are exhibited. The Roman theater of Caesaraugusta dates from the 1st century and with its 7,000 square meters and room for 6,000 spectators, it is considered one of the largest in Roman Hispania. The ruins were discovered in 1972. Next to the archaeological remains a building is situated that houses the interpretation center in which the visitor is introduced to the history of the theater and life during that time.
