Museo Pietro Micca (The Pietro Micca Civic Museum and the Musuem of the siege of Turin in 1706) is a museum in Turin dedicated to Pietro Micca, a Sabaudian soldier who became a national hero for his sacrifice in the defence of Turin against the French troops. The museum is housed in a two-storey building, located on the site where a French battery was placed. The collection includes 18th century weapons, maps and paintings of the areas involved in the battles and models that reconstruct the affected areas. Highlight in the museum are the steps that Pietro Micca used to descend starting the fuse and where his dead body was found.
