Museum Bronbeek
Source

Museum Bronsbeek illustrates the Dutch colonial history. Most focus is on the Royal Dutch East Indies Army - KNIL - and the colonized opponents. The permanent exhibition features footage, stories of eyewitnesses and authentic weapons and uniforms that illustrate the story of the Dutch East Indies that began at the end of the 16th century. Part of the exhibition focusses on the Second World War in the colony and its impact on the residents. The exhibition ends in the postcolonial period when many Indian Dutch people migrated to the Netherlands.
