Museum für Sächsische Volkskunst mit Puppentheatersammlung is a museum in Dresden that contains a puppet theater collection as well as a Museum of Saxon Folk Art. The puppet theater collection in Dresden is a collection of theater puppets from the 18th, 19th and 20th centuries, comprising more than 50,000 pieces, making it one of the most important and largest collections of its kind in the world. The Museum of Saxon Folk Art is a museum of local history that displays about 27,000 works of art from various parts of the 'Freistaat', including Erzgebirgische folk art as well as typical regional objects from Lusatia and the Vogtland.
