It comprises over 3000 pieces of jewellery dating from the 16th to the 18th century, as well as traditional Spanish costumes from the 19th century. A significant part of the museum's collection is the Manila shawl, a traditional Spanish costume piece. The museum houses an important collection of these shawls, some of which feature small heads made of mother-of-pearl or ivory.
