The Panorama Walcheren surprises visitors with a unique art project of ten mega-paintings, up to 3 meters high and from 14 to as much as 40 meters wide. Each arranged in a curve, making it feel like you are part to become part of the image itself. They are characteristic Walcheren places with each their own atmosphere and time of year. They have been created by painter Jo Dumon Tak with a team of volunteers since 2010. The painter Robert Vorstman created the tenth canvas: The summer beach at Dishoek.

Museum Panorama Walcheren provides visitors with an overview of the local history of Walcheren, an area in the province of Zeeland. The museum houses a large diorama depicting the region in the 1950s, which is its main attraction. Visitors appreciate the detailed miniature landscape that showcases the geography and significant landmarks of Walcheren. The museum also features exhibits on the area's wartime history, including the role of Walcheren in World War II and the 1944 flooding. While some visitors find the displays informative, others note that the information provided could be more comprehensive, especially for non-Dutch speakers. The museum is relatively small, which can be seen as both a positive (easy to navigate) and a negative (limited scope) aspect. The staff is generally described as friendly and helpful. However, some visitors feel that the museum could benefit from modernization and more interactive elements to enhance the overall experience.
