The Vleeshal is a contemporary art museum housed in the former town hall. There are experimental and innovative exhibitions and projects that focus on international contemporary art. The Gothic style of the building is in stark contrast with the exhibitions inside. Artist who have already exhibited here include Christian Boltanski, Pipilotti Rist and Panamarenko.
