Streekmuseum 't Land van Peel en Maas is housed in the former monastery Kerkebosch. The museum illustrates the history of the region of Peel en Maas. Among other things, the museum exhibits works by Dutch-American sculptor Shinkichi Tajiri. It also covers Romans in Maasdal and Peel and the deportation and liberation during World War II. In addition it exhibits a collection of one hundred ‘breischeien’. For children there is a scavenger hunt.
