The Madrid Deep Space Communications Complex (MDSCC), located in Robledo de Chavela, is a facility of the National Institute of Aerospace Technology (INTA), in collaboration with NASA and the European Space Agency (ESA). This complex is part of the Deep Space Network and the European VLBI Network. It was established in 1961 with the installation of its first antenna for the Mariner Program.
Adjacent to the tracking complex, there is a NASA visitor center that can be visited upon request. This center provides an opportunity for visitors to learn more about the work of NASA, the ESA, and the INTA, as well as the various space missions that the antennas at the complex have supported.
