The National Maritime Museum in Gdańsk is a maritime museum devoted to maritime history of Poland and its economy through the ages. The museum holds a collection of artifacts and documents related to boatbuilding, shipbuilding, river and sea navigation, fishery, sailing, military science and maritime education. The maritime museum features 8 major branches, namely: The Crane, Granaries on Ołowianka Island, Maritime Culture Centre, Fisheries Museum in Hel, Vistula Lagoon Museum in Kąty Rybackie, Vistula River Museum in Tczew, Shipwreck Conservation Centre in Tczew, Museum ship Sołdek and Museum ship Dar Pomorza.
