The National Maritime Museum in Gdańsk, Poland offers a comprehensive look into the maritime history of the region. Visitors appreciate the diverse exhibits that span from medieval shipbuilding to modern naval technology. The museum's location in the historic Granaries on the Motława River adds to its charm.

Many reviewers highlight the well-preserved ships and boats on display, particularly the medieval ship wreck exhibit. The interactive elements and multimedia presentations enhance the learning experience for both adults and children. The museum's collection of nautical instruments, maps, and model ships is often praised for its depth and quality.

Some visitors note that not all information is available in English, which can be a drawback for international tourists. However, the visual nature of many exhibits helps mitigate this issue. A few reviewers mention that some areas of the museum could benefit from updating or renovation.

The museum's Crane, a separate branch located nearby, is frequently recommended as a complementary visit, offering panoramic views of the city and river. Overall, the National Maritime Museum is considered informative and engaging, providing good value for the admission price.

While most visitors find the museum interesting, some suggest that those without a specific interest in maritime history might find certain sections less engaging. The museum's size is substantial, and some visitors advise allocating several hours to fully appreciate all the exhibits.
