The National Museum of Dance and Hall of Fame is a significant cultural institution located in Saratoga Springs, New York. Established in 1986, the museum is housed in the former Washington Bath House and is a key part of the Saratoga Spa State Park. It offers visitors a unique opportunity to explore the rich history and evolution of dance through its extensive collection of photographs, videos, artifacts, costumes, and biographies.
In addition to its exhibits, the National Museum of Dance and Hall of Fame is also closely associated with the Saratoga Performing Arts Center. It offers dance classes and master classes through the Lewis A. Swyer School for the Arts. This school hosts the New York State Summer School of the Arts during July and August, providing an enriching experience for those interested in the performing arts.
