The National Museum of Education (MUNAÉ) is a French museum situated in the city of Rouen. It is part of the Canopé network, a French educational resource network. The museum has been awarded the label 'Museum of France', a mark of recognition by the French Ministry of Culture.
The National Museum of Education holds a collection of nearly 950,000 works and objects that reflect the history of education in France since the Renaissance. The collection includes a wide range of items such as paintings, prints, popular images, educational materials, school furniture, student and teacher work, games and toys, and autographed documents of famous individuals.
Since 1980, the exhibition center of the National Museum of Education is located in the house of the Four Sons Aymon, in the historic center of Rouen. The building, dating back to the 15th century, has been classified as a historical monument since September 25, 1961. The museum offers a permanent exhibition spread over two floors, and temporary exhibitions are held on the upper two floors.
