Natuurmuseum Nijmegen was a museum in Nijmegen It let visitors discover the animals, plants and rocks of the river landscape near the River Waal. Through interactive exhibitions and activities such as nature walks and field classes the museum seeked to excite people about nature. The museum was also the visitor centre of ‘Nationaal Landschap Gelderse Poort’. In the shop visitors could buy maps with walking and cycling routes, that start at the museum. Children could take part in searches through the exhibitions and do various games.
