The Nederlands Stripmuseum is dedicated to comics in general. It focusses on Dutch-language comics and illustrates the history of comics. This history began in prehistoric times. Comic Heroes that are covered in the museum include Avatar, DirkJan, Donald Duck, Dora, FC Knudde, Jack, Jacky and the Juniors, Tintin, Ollie B. Bommel, Spongebob and Suske en Wiske.
