The Parc à loups du Gévaudan is an animal park situated in Sainte-Lucie, within the commune of Saint-Léger-de-Peyre near Marvejols, in the Lozère department. The park is home to 97 wolves, which are divided into two separate parks.
The park opened its doors to visitors in 1985. By May 1986, the park was home to 26 wolves. This number grew to 86 by 1989. In 1991, the Brigitte-Bardot Foundation rescued a hundred Mongolian wolves from poaching, and Gérard Ménatory welcomed 80 of these wolves into the park.
The park is home to 80 wolves, which are divided into 6 packs. Six subspecies are represented in the park: Mongolian wolves (15 individuals), Siberian wolves (21 individuals), Polish wolves (16 individuals), Canadian wolves (16 individuals), black Canadian wolves (4 individuals), and Arctic wolves (8 individuals).
The main part of the visit is the animal park itself, which serves to dispel the false ideas about wolves propagated by legends and tales. The wolf is presented in its natural state, and visitors are informed that wolves, in general, are wary of humans and avoid approaching them.

Parc des Loups du Gévaudan, located in Saint-Léger-de-Peyre, France, offers visitors a chance to observe wolves in a semi-natural environment. The park provides an educational experience about wolf behavior, ecology, and conservation. Visitors appreciate the opportunity to see different wolf subspecies and learn about their role in the ecosystem. The guided tours are informative, though some guests note that the experience can vary depending on the guide's knowledge and the wolves' activity level. The park's layout allows for good viewing opportunities, but some visitors mention that patience is required as the wolves may not always be visible. The site includes additional amenities such as a small museum and a picnic area, which add value to the visit. While most find the entry fee reasonable, a few consider it slightly high. The park's remote location is part of its charm but can make access challenging for some visitors.
