The Petřín Lookout Tower, standing at 63.5 metres tall, is a steel-framework tower located on Petřín Hill in Prague. This iconic structure was built in the year 1891 and has since become a significant landmark in the city.
The Petřín Lookout Tower is a popular tourist attraction, drawing in a large number of visitors each year. In 2014 alone, the tower was visited by more than 557,000 people, with over 70% of these visitors being foreigners.
The Petřín Lookout Tower features two observation platforms that are accessible via 299 stairs, divided into sections of 13 per flight. The tower's unique double-helix staircase design allows visitors to travel up and down simultaneously without interruption.
