The Romanian Peasant Museum (National Museum of the Romanian Peasant) is a museum devoted to peasant life, housed in a in a Neo-Romanian style historical building.The museum holds the richest collection of peasant objects in Romania, with around 90.000 pieces on the subject. The Romanian Peasant Museum holds a ceramics collection with around 18,000 pieces of the 200 pottery centers of Romania. The costume collection contains around 20.000 pieces of costume from all Romanian provinces. Besides this, the museum holds a decorative interior collection, a wood, furniture and ironware collection and a collection with religion related objects.
