The Science Museum in London was founded in 1857 and currently holds over 300 000 exhibits, including famous exhibits as the first prototype of the 10,000-year Clock of the Long Now, documentation of the first typewriter, the oldest surviving steam locomotive, a working example of Charles Babbage's Difference engine, some of the earliest remaining steam engines, the first jet engine and a reconstruction of Crick and Watson's model of DNA. Besides these exhibits, the Science Museum also features an IMAX 3D Cinema showing science and nature documentaries.
