Semmelweis Museum of Medical History (The Semmelweis Medical Museum) is a museum in Budapest housed in the house where Dr. Semmelwies was born in. Semmelweis was a Hungarian physician of ethnic-German ancestry, now known as an early pioneer of antiseptic procedures. With its collection of medical tools and photographs, the museum traces the history of medicine from Graeco-Roman to the present day.
