Skiing in Sierra Nevada National Park

The Sierra Nevada Ski Station, located within the park, is Europe's southernmost ski resort. It hosted the Alpine World Ski Championships in 1996. Due to the park's high altitude, the skiing season can extend from late November until the beginning of May, offering a long window for winter sports enthusiasts.
