The The Costume Gallery in Florence is part of the Pitti Palace complex, located in the wing called the Palazzina della Meridiana. Devoted to fashion, its exhibitions illustrate the evolution of fashion from the 16th to the early 20th century. The collection contains more than 6,000 items, including gowns, theatrical costumes, funeral clothes but also drawings and sketches.
