Bird Park The Lorkeershoeve is home to one hundred and twenty different species of birds from all continents. Among them are parakeets, parrots, cockatoos, birds of prey, fruit and insect eaters, quacks, ibises, kookaburras, violet toucans, pheasants, pigeons and water birds. For children, there is a playground and miniature golf course.

April to November (weather permitting) the bird and poultry park is open from Tuesday to Sunday from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm.
On public holidays such as 1st and 2nd Easter Monday and 1st and 2nd Pentecost, the park is also open on Mondays.
