The museum's interactive displays and multimedia presentations receive high praise from visitors. Many appreciate the way complex historical information is made accessible to all ages. The museum's focus on personal stories and everyday life during different periods adds depth to the exhibits.

A highlight for many is the museum's treatment of World War I, providing context to the devastating impact on Ypres and its surroundings. The balance between informative content and emotional impact is well-managed, allowing visitors to gain a deeper understanding of the war's effects on the region.
