Adventure Bay is a coastal locality situated on the eastern side of Bruny Island, Tasmania, Australia. The bay was named after Captain James Cook's ship HMS Adventure, which anchored there in 1777. The area holds significant historical importance as various European explorers, including Tobias Furneaux, James Cook, and William Bligh, visited these shores during their Pacific voyages. Before European arrival, the region was home to the Nuenonne Aboriginal people.

Today, Adventure Bay is known for its natural beauty, featuring white sandy beaches and clear waters, and serves as an important location for observing local wildlife, particularly whales during their migration season. The bay area maintains its historical heritage while supporting local tourism and maritime activities.
