Bovington is a village located in the county of Dorset, England, primarily known for its military heritage and connection to armored warfare history. The village developed alongside the Bovington Camp, a British Army military base established during World War I. Today, Bovington is most notably home to The Tank Museum, one of the world's largest and most significant collections of tanks and armored vehicles.

The museum, which began as a training collection for the Royal Tank Regiment, now houses over 300 vehicles from 26 countries. The surrounding area features typical Dorset countryside with heathland and woodland, while the village itself maintains its strong military connections through the continued presence of the army base.
