Holbrook is a historic town located in the Riverina region of New South Wales, Australia, approximately 384 kilometers southwest of Sydney. The town, originally named Germanton, was renamed to Holbrook in 1915 during World War I in honor of Lieutenant Norman Douglas Holbrook, a British submarine commander.
