North Cape (Nordkapp in Norwegian) is a notable cliff located on the northern coast of the island of Magerøya in Northern Norway. Standing at 307 meters (1,007 feet) above the Arctic Ocean, it is often regarded as the northernmost point of mainland Europe, although the neighboring Knivskjellodden point extends slightly further north. The area is characterized by its dramatic landscape, where steep cliff faces meet the cold waters of the Barents Sea. The North Cape experiences the midnight sun from mid-May to late July, and polar nights from late November to late January.

The site has been an important cultural landmark since the 16th century when English explorer Richard Chancellor named it in 1553. Today, the North Cape is home to a modern visitor center featuring exhibitions about the region's history, nature, and culture, along with facilities for visitors to experience this unique Arctic environment.
