Stanley is a small village located in Perthshire, Scotland, situated on the north bank of the River Tay approximately 7 miles north of Perth.
The village grew significantly during the industrial revolution when it developed around a water-powered cotton mill established in the late 18th century. Today, Stanley retains much of its historic character with its traditional Scottish architecture and planned village layout. The surrounding area features beautiful Perthshire countryside and offers opportunities for outdoor activities.
While smaller than many Scottish towns, Stanley maintains its cultural heritage through local community initiatives and its historic industrial past remains visible in some of its preserved architecture.
