Whimple is a village and civil parish in East Devon, England. The village has a rich agricultural heritage and was historically known for its orchards and cider production.

In the early 20th century, Whimple was home to the significant Whiteway's Cider Company, which played an important role in the local economy and cultural identity of the area. Today, while smaller in scale, the village maintains strong connections to its cider-making past through local producers and annual celebrations.

The village features traditional Devon architecture, including thatched cottages, and contains several historic buildings that reflect its rural heritage. The local Heritage Centre, housed in the former village railway goods store, preserves and displays the history of the village, with particular emphasis on its apple and cider-making traditions.
