't Fiskershúske consists of four small houses. The oldest house of the four is from 1794 and is decorated as a fisherman's house from around 1850. The museum exhibits objects related to the old coastal fishing and the lives of the inhabitants of Paesens-Moddergat. The museum also focusses on the disaster of Moddergat in 1883 when 83 fishermen died.
