The Pergamon Museum in Berlin is one of the largest museums in Germany. The museum showcases some of the world's most important collections of historical artifacts and art. The museum's collections are divided into three main thematic sections. The most iconic one is the Antiquity Collection, which focuses on artifacts from the Greco-Roman period. It includes the entire Gate of Miletus as well as the majestic Pergamon Altar, after which the museum is named. It also contains the Islamic Art Museum and the Middle East Museum, where you can admire the Ishtar Gate, as well as some of the oldest written documents in the history of mankind.
