The Berliner U-Bahn Museum (Berlin Underground Museum) is housed in the electromechanical Hebelstellwerk Olympia Stadion, which was in operation from 1931 to 1983. The adjecent rooms of the signal box are exhibition rooms with numerous exhibits. In addition to occasional photo exhibitions, four to six special trips with the trains that are no longer in operation are held annually. Next to the ones in Moscow and Budapest it is the third underground museum in Europe.
