The Sammlung Scharf-Gerstenberg Museum (Collection Scharf-Gerstenberg) in Berlin shows art from French romanticism to surrealism, housed in Stülerbau-Ost (Eastern Stüler Building). The collection includes paintings, graphics and sculptures from the Stiftung Sammlung Dieter Scharf zur Erinnerung an Otto Gerstenberg. The museum illustrates the evolution of art of, starting with works by Giovanni Battista Piranesi and Francisco de Goya, to Surrealist art of the 20th-century painting, with works by Ernst and Magritte, but including many more great artists. The Collection Scharf-Gerstenberg's main focus is on graphics.
