The CaixaForum is a former factory that has been turned into an art gallery which opened in 2002. The art nouveau building consists of an exhibition space, a media library, auditorium, classrooms and a restaurant. It puts on mainly temporary exhibitions of contemporary artists. Concerts and conferences also take place here.
