The Charleville-Mézières Animal Park, also known as the Saint-Laurent Animal Park, is a natural reserve that spans 38 hectares. It is home to a variety of wild animals, the majority of which are representative of the Ardennes fauna. This provides a unique opportunity for visitors to observe and learn about these animals in a natural setting.
The park features a 3 km trail that allows visitors to safely explore the entire area. The wild animals are separated from the paths by double protection, ensuring the safety of both the visitors and the animals. Each location within the park is marked with signboards that provide references and descriptions, helping visitors to learn more about the animals and their habitats.
Established in 1976, the Charleville-Mézières Animal Park has become one of the most visited tourist spots in the Ardennes, attracting between 50,000 and 60,000 visitors each year. One of the appealing aspects of the park is that entrance is free, making it an accessible destination for all.
