The Design Museum of Barcelona offers a comprehensive look at the history and evolution of design, with a focus on Catalonian and Spanish contributions. Visitors appreciate the well-curated exhibits that showcase a wide range of design disciplines, including fashion, graphic design, and industrial design. The museum's location in the modern Plaça de les Glòries area adds to its appeal, with the striking building itself being a notable example of contemporary architecture.

Many reviewers highlight the museum's permanent collection, which features an extensive array of objects from different periods, allowing visitors to trace the development of design through the ages. The temporary exhibitions are also well-received, often exploring current trends and innovative concepts in various design fields.

While most visitors find the museum informative and engaging, some mention that certain sections could benefit from more detailed explanations or interactive elements. A few reviewers note that the museum might not cater to everyone's interests, as it requires a specific appreciation for design history and aesthetics.

The museum's shop receives positive mentions for its selection of design-related books and unique souvenirs. However, some visitors find the entrance fee slightly high, especially for those not deeply interested in design.
