Visitors consistently praise the quality and variety of artworks on display, which span from the Renaissance to the early 20th century. The collection includes notable pieces by European masters such as Titian, Veronese, Canaletto, and Bonnard.

Many reviewers appreciate the intimate atmosphere of the museum, which allows for a close-up viewing experience of the artworks. The building itself, a 16th-century mansion, adds to the overall charm and historical context of the visit. The museum's organization and curation receive positive feedback, with most visitors finding the layout logical and informative.

While the majority of reviews are overwhelmingly positive, some visitors mention that the museum can get crowded during peak times, which may slightly detract from the viewing experience. Additionally, a few reviewers note that some of the information provided is only in French, which could be a minor inconvenience for non-French speaking visitors.
