The Musée des Augustins is a fine arts museum in Toulouse. The museum holds a collection of sculpture and paintings from the Middle Ages to the early 20th century. The paintings find their origin throughout France, the sculptures represent the Occitan culture of the region with many Romanesque sculpture. The collection consists of more than 4,000 works of which the core derives from confiscation of Church property during the French Revolution as well as seizures of the private collections of emigrés.
