Hoensbroek Castle is one of the largest castles in the Netherlands. The oldest part of the castle dates back to 1250. There are more than forty authentically furnished rooms in the museum. The rooms are decorated in the style of different periods, from the Middle Ages to the 18th century. The collection includes portraits of noble families and the 16th century tower clock.
