The Memory Freedom Museum in Nijverdal takes you on the hard-won journey into what is now called our freedom. How World War II was able to happen. How we as the Netherlands defended our freedom against the invading enemy. How the occupiers oppressed us for five years and took away our freedoms. And how thousands of men from a distant other country did the unthinkable: sacrificed their lives to make freedom possible for the Dutch again. What is your role in this?
