MUHBA Domus de Sant Honorat has 1 rating.
The MUHBA Domus de Sant Honorat is a small archaeological site in the heart of Barcelona's Gothic Quarter. It offers visitors a glimpse into the city's Roman past, showcasing the remains of ancient Roman houses. The site is compact but well-preserved, featuring mosaic floors and wall structures that date back to the 1st-4th centuries AD. While the museum provides some information panels, some visitors have noted that more detailed explanations would enhance the experience. The site's location within a medieval building adds an interesting layer to its historical significance. It's a quick visit, typically lasting around 30 minutes, which makes it a good option for those interested in archaeology but short on time. The staff is generally described as friendly and helpful. However, the limited scope of the exhibits and the brief nature of the visit may leave some visitors wanting more depth. It's worth noting that the museum is part of the larger MUHBA (Barcelona History Museum) network, and visiting in conjunction with other MUHBA sites can provide a more comprehensive understanding of Barcelona's history.
