The Museum of Byzantine Culture is a history museum in Thessaloniki with a collection of objects from the 2nd to the 20th century, mostly consisting of coins, seals and small artifacts, but also sculptures and icons, all from Thessaloniki and Macedonia, from churches, private houses and cemeteries. The museum features eleven different themed rooms, including: The Early Christian Church; Early Christian City and Dwelling; From the Elysian Fields to the Christian Paradise; From Icocnoclasm to the Splendor of the Macedonian and Komnenian Dynasties; The Dynasties of Byzyntine Emporers; The Byzantine Castle; The Twilight of Byzantium (1204-1453).
